The MENALAC Awards recognise the best of the leisure and attractions industry across the Middle East and North Africa. Now in their 8th edition, the awards cover 30+ categories spanning operators — including theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centres, visitor attractions, and edutainment centres — as well as non-operators such as manufacturers, suppliers, architects, technology providers, and service companies.

The awards follow a structured 9-step entry process, from reviewing award information and checking eligibility to submitting entries, jury evaluation, and the final Awards Gala.

What Enseur Did

Enseur powered the MENALAC Awards 2026 through its award management platform — Awardocado.

• CC Avenue Payment Integration
  • Integrated CC Avenue as the payment gateway, enabling secure online fee collection in both USD and AED directly through the portal.
  • Payment was a prerequisite before access to submission forms was granted — in line with how entry fee management works on the Awardocado platform.
  • Supported both Member and Non-Member fee structures with VAT-inclusive pricing.
• Category Management
  • The platform manages 30+ award categories across the Operator and Non-Operator tracks.
  • Participants could select the relevant category and start their entry directly from within the portal.
  • Separate tracks handled theme parks, water parks, FECs, visitor attractions, edutainment centres, and supplier-side organisations.
• Configurable Workflow
  • Built a configurable, multi-stage workflow to manage each phase of the awards program across a fixed timeline.
  • Managed 8 key milestones: Nomination Opening (January 19), Submission Deadline (February 20), Qualification Review (February 23), Jury Judging (March 4–16), External Auditor Scoring, Finalist Announcement (March 18), and the Awards Gala (April 1, 2026).
  • Each stage was independently configurable — enabling the organiser to open, close, or transition phases without manual intervention across the system.
• Online Judging and Jury Voting
  • 18 jury members — split across operator and non-operator categories — evaluated entries through the platform's online judging system.
  • Once the judging round closed on March 16, all jury markings were submitted to an external auditor for independent scoring and finalist announcement.
  • The system ensured confidentiality and integrity of the jury process throughout the evaluation period.
• Customisation and Branding
  • The portal was tailored to reflect the MENALAC Awards identity, giving participants a consistent branded experience throughout the entry journey.
  • Custom branding extended across registration pages, submission forms, jury interfaces, and automated communications.
